Well, radio has not been totally displaced by modern technology because almost everyone tunes into their FM station everyday. In getting a message across, the radio is a very effective form of mass communication. People do respond to ads they hear on the radio and thus it is quite effective.

With net technology, radio may not be an as sought after information media, but it has not lost it charm. Governments still resort to radio broadcasts for informing the public. People ranging from all ages tune to the FM for their favorite radio programs or news broadcasts. Using this medium is as effective as the other forms of marketing mediums in business promotions.
